Dear Brother and Sisters,

Welcome to the Historic St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church website. For over 100 years St. Nicholas R. O. Church has been a beacon of orthodoxy to the faithful of the city of Bayonne and its surrounding communities. During this period of time we have seen the word in which we live undergo dramatic changes of enormous magnitude. Yet, in this same period of time, by the Grace of God, under the Heavenly Patronage of St. Nicholas our parish community has borne faithful witness that Truth remains Eternal and unchanging, for our Lord Jesus Christ is "the same yesterday and today and forever" (Heb. 13:8).

We will endeavor through our website to have our fingers on the pulse beat of change in the life of our parishioners, our church and community.
